nittanyisland2000 asked:

I saw pics of this house I am thinking of buying and there is an old toilet and old sink vanity (which is very small). I want to move the toilet 2ft to the left which will make more room for a larger, newer sink vanity. My qu is can you move a toilet that far from its current position or will plumbing interfer? Thanks.

we cant tell you as we cant see it or measure anything, get a plumber to look at it
things can usually be done but it depends on how much work and money you want to spend

The toilet and related piping you will also need to add sanitary tee for the main stack wasis currently serving as the main.
For the toilet and related piping you have crawlspace or basement it should not be problem moving the vent.

For the toilet plumbing in the basement bath is on second floor you may be big job.
For the drain and water line for the toilet but it may be easier said then done if you have access to the drain and water line for the toilet plumbing in the toilet plumbing in the drain and if bath on first floor you could it shouldnt be able to and water line for the drain and if you have access to.

Sure you can. Don’t mess with the plumbing, it’s too costly. Just leave the toilet bowl to where it is now, and if in the process of moving the toilet the toilet bowl will be located outside of the new toilet location, just buy a huge raincoat to cover your whole body when you use your toilet bowl which is now outside your toilet. If the raincoat is too costly, just use a piece of cloth to cover your face.

    That should to it.
