I am contemplating having my bathtub “refinished”. Has anyone had this done? Did it turn out the way you thought it would?

Been painting 30 plus years just left a job where this lady had her tub and tile done i was amazed theres this company that did it and they sprayed it on and believe this it bonded. Now i do all kinds of painting from faux to marble this was the first if you would of ask me before i seen it i would say no-way paint will not bold check your local paint stores. Get them to get intouch with someone or look in the phone book. This takes a professional like i said its sprayed on. Good luck finding them.

yes ive had them done they acid bath the tub to etch the tub to alow the paint to bond it dont last as long as a factory finish but you can have it do a few times for the cost of replacement of the tub ive sprayed tile with tile clad made by serwin williams this was 5 years ago no problem with it so far and this was in a 500,000 + house as far as the tub ive seen them last more than 5 years i hope this helps
