Well, I have to say that you americans are living in medieval times what comes to dishwashers. In europe dishwashers are mostly plug and play devices. Just hook it up and rock your dirty shit. Everybody can do it. In videos like this it seems to be most complex thing. Nice video anyway.

oh pleaze, with the new Pex plumbing, anyone can plumb and entire house.
But we will always need plumbers. Don’t worry.
Is your name Joe, by the way? Is it true that all plumbers are unlicensed and have back taxes like Joe?

Here’s an idea. Why don’t you make an instructional video on how to properly install a dishwasher since you seem to patrol these plumbing DIY posts, in the hopes of finding errors. I’m sure people across the globe would appreciate some expert advice.

What State and code is that. I will double check for you. AIRGAPS are very basic plumbing in all plumbing codes.

This is why plumbers are required to have a license. You did NOT install the dishwasher with a dishwasher AIRGAP which is required by plumbing codes. It is illegal and unsanitary to loop the drain up UNDER the counter. A plumber would be fined heavily for that. Also the electrical connections need to be of the proper gauge and GFCI protected. Dangerous way to give advice.
