Does anyone have experience using Home Depot Canada for home remodeling and renovations? How’s their contractors? Are they better or worse, cheaper or more expensive than the average contractor you find in the phone book? Please share your experience.

Here is the problem with hiring the contractors from Home depot ,Lowes, etc. These are all sub contractors and not their own, therefore they have no idea how their work is being done. They get % from these contractors and they don’t actually control the jobs. One thing sub-contractors do is they skip lotta process to make their margin , because lot of their profits are going to the people giving them the jobs. They don’t have enough capital to do all the proper steps due to high in labor and material now.
